BTR-80
This vehicle was made in Russia in 1990. This is an armoured conveying fighting vehicle of the Hungarian Army armoured mechanized rifle-shot brigade and of the militant sub-unit.
The gross of the martial vehicle is 13600 kg, its lenght is 7650 mm, its breadth is 2250 mm, its height is 2460 mm. The marching rate of the vehicle is maximum 80km/h on the road, in the field it is 20-40km/h but it depends on the field. The marching performance of the vehicle is 9 km/h on the water. Its facing radius is 13,2 meter. The capability of the vehicle to surmount the balk on maximum uphill: The vehicle can go up on a 30-degree uphill. Its listing is 25 degree. Its performance to bridge the trench is maximum 2 meter.
The weapon of the fighting vehicle: it has the windmill-cap which we can turn around. It is full-armoured and closed. There are two parallel machine-guns in the windmill-cap. A BKT machine-gun which is 762 mm and a KPVT machine-gun which is 14,5 mm.
The type of the vehicle’s motor is KAMAZ 74,03 with 8 rolls and it is 4 measured and with refrigeration for liquid. The motor is placed in V form and it is a Diesel motor with turbo filling. The performance of the motor is 260 horsepower on 2600 turn/minute, the roll-cubic capacity of the motor is 10,85 litre, its fuel consumption is 48 litre/100 km on the road and in the field it is 60-130 litre/100 km.
Its transmission is 5 fore- and 1 reverse gear. It has mechanized road-and field cascade, differential lock between the axles, in locked differential machine in the bridges and it has redactors on the wheels.
The control system of the wheel’s pressure can be regulated between 0.5 and 3 bar. The running gear disposes of 8x8 wheel formula with suspension of independent trailing arm, of torsional axle and of hydraulic shock-absorver.

Iveco Cursor EuroTrakker
- Welcome in our show. We are richer with a fantastic experience. We managed to prove that such a big machine like this can race on ice. What kind of vehicle is this exactly?
- This vehicle is an IVECO Cursor tipper lorry with 440 horsepower, with the drift formula 6x4.
- What can you use a machine like this for?
- The vehicle with the tipper superstructure can be used for transport of loose cargo.
- What kind of parameters does the vehicle have?
- According to the the motor of the vehicle, it has a level euro-3 and 440 horsepower so it has the most environmental-friendly and the most environmental-saver motor. It is 1200 cubic centimetre and as I said it has 440 horsepower.
- How much is the gross and the load ability of the vehicle?
- The maximum empty gross of the vehicle is 12500 kg and its load ability is 12 tonnes.
- What I find great that it has got 10 wheels. Why is it so?
- It is because of the drift formula and because of the load ability. The curb weight of the vehicle is quite big, so the maximum gross is big, too. That’s why this correct weight must be distributed on more axles because of the axle load.
- What do you think about driving this vehicle against a normal car?
- Practically there aren’t any differences between a car and this vehicle, you have to observe a bit harder because of the parameters of the vehicle, because it has got more weight. But there isn’t much difference between it and a car in the movement.
- What can we find in the passenger cabin?
When we sit in the vehicle first we can realize that there is a prestigious steering wheel that is general in the lorries. It is known about the gearshift that it is a ZF metric gearshift, which means that there are a lower and an upper line. Both of the lines can be switched with a separated bisector with an out and on switch. It is enough to crush out the clutch. It is still worth to mention about the vehicle that it has got cruise electronics, ABS and TRC (traction control system). Differential lock can be found in the lorry which locks the top and the rear axles on electronic control. There is a separated parking heater, the mirrors can be heated and there is also a motor seat heating. The seat can be set in more positions from the lumbar support to the bed-rest.
- What is about the speed items? Speed up, top speed and sonsumption?
- We know about the speed items that the maximum speed of the lorry is 90km/h, the electronics regulates at this speed, or rather blocks the speed. The sonsumption of the vehicle is between 35-40 litre, it depends on the land and the load ratio. The speed-up of the lorry is similar to the speed-up of the car, and so the travel dynamics is similar to the car’s, too.

Volkswagen Golf 6
Welcome here again. Beyond the gastronomy and technology a lot of other categories have lions around the world. The automotive industry also have its own gems like the 6th generation of Volkswagen Golf is being introduced here now.
At first glance, it seems there is no difference from the 5th generation but I can make you sure of this is a 100% brand new model. Taking a look at the front of it we see these beautifully drawn headlights. Getting the wonderful piano shape big grille shell flatter it makes the Golf`s nose more dynamical and wider. Lets continuo with the bumper with huge air scoops where the amazing chrome-free fog lights are placed which can be used as cornering light. The fancy new designed door mirrors are similar to the Passat CC. If we drive our eyes along the sideline, we can see those characteristics which make a Golf to be a real Golf. These are robust C-column and the well known silhouette of the Volkswagen Golf. At the rear of the ehicle the big brother Volkswagen Tuareg`s light say Hello. We can enter to the 50L unchanged luggage trunk on the same way as before tilting the Volkswagen emblem.
If we take a seat inside of the new Volkswagen Golf, it`s easy to realize this Golf is not that Golf what we are used to. Just enough to mention the quality of the materials, nobody can confute they stepped forward. You feel as if all of the appointments had come from that certain Swedish store. In point of technical, the usually 3 characters extras, so it’s unnecessary to mention these stuffs like lectric windows and mirrors, air conditioner, because these are requirements in this category. In the engine bay we can find the 1.6l 102 HP 148Nm engine, which an be found the previous model of the Volkswagen. This engine is in accordance with
the Euro 5 Emission Standard.
More extra can be found in the trim-list such as, Haldex all-wheel ride system, adaptive running gear, transmission with DSG clutch for the faster shifting. We can met the park-assist system which make the vehicle allow to automatically steer our Golf aside the roadside. Do not forget about the beautiful touch-screen GPS system and the parking-radar. As you can see it would take so long to recite all of the extras
can make our Golf much comfortable and personal. The price of the standard model is 3.900.000 HUF.
BMW 325ix Turbo
- Let’s get acquainted with a really tough vehicle which born for Drag Racing. Please tell us some words about
it.
- This is an all-wheel drive BMW E30 325ix, so it is good at starting. That’s why it’s made.
- Why the all wheel drive is so interesting?
- There are sper-diferentials at the front and at the rear for splitting the drive into the front and the rear running gear by 60-40 %
- Let’s see the deviations from the casual BMWs!
- The running gear, the drive and the gearbox are fully original. A sinter clutch was buit in, lest it slips due to the high torque. The engine was redesigned from 2500ccm3 to 2700ccm3, There is a sintered con-rod for decreasing the compression. We also built a T3/T4 Turbo Charges in it. The gas-pressure controller is separately adjustable for setting up the car. A really good intercooler on it. The engine is completely redesigned by using Diesel Crankshaft and con-rod. The forged piston was ordered from Germany to resist the turbo pressure.The gas pressure is separately variable by the gas-pressure controller. Blow-off valve and direct air filter are also included.
- We also replaced the original exhaust system by an 80” acid-proof steel exhaust without choke.
- We have not mentioned the running gear, yet.
- There are sper-diferentials at the front and at the rear for splitting the drive into the front and the rear running gear by 60-40 %. So, wheels start to roll together. The all wheel drive, the short-way transmission and differentials all together make this car good at race-starting. Of course its final speed is not so high but its acceleration is really good.
- Koni adjustable shock absorbers substitute the original ones. The cooler is not an exception. Now we have a
larger BMW cooler because the engine heated with the original one.
- This is general with this load, isn’t it?
- Yes it is. It’s important because this car is in traffic use. It must not overheat in summer.
- What kind of car did you defeat with this BMW?
- Chevrolet Corvett which has reputely 650HP. Mitsubishi Evo 8 wich has 350HP. I defeated them at a Drag Race.
- The turbo system required some extra measuring instruments such as oil-pressure gage, extra water thermo meter and turbo-pressure controller. Furthermore there is an extra gas-pressure gage which is absolutely necessary for setting the car. The viscous cooling was replaced by a direct-switchable electric fan for giving a better cooling system. Racing seats are in the car instead of the original ones not only for the better set-up, but also it means 20-30 kg weight decrease which is important as well.
- What kind of achievements does this car have?
- It makes good at races. It won first place in Debrecen and several times in Matészalka. It got 2nd place in its category in Budapest. It did well at all races where we were. Honestly the performance of the engine is not on top. Owing to the traffic usage and the durability the vehicle runs only with 1 bar which is really reliable. I have not got any problem, yet.
- So, we can tell it can be used in traffic as a common car.
- Sure, you can. It consumes a little bit more but you can drive it as normal car.
- How much is its consumption? Just approximately.
- Please do not ask it :)
Kawasaki ZX-6R
Please welcome here at the Motorter. We are introducing the Kawasaki ZX-6R which is actually a
Super-Sport Motorbike. On the face of it its style is a legacy of the MotoGP.
So, first of all I would like to talk about this heritage. If we glance at the front break wheel, it’s
conspicuous they’re wavy. The advantages of it the break dust quits on easier way during the
breaking and the breaking force is greater. But it’s not enough in itself, so the bike has a radial
break slave cylinder to make the pulling of the break lever easier ensuring greater pressure point.
The other specialty is the exhaust pipe under the seat which became fashionable. The other really
important part is invisible but the bike has slider clutch. It prevents the bike from popping in case of
intensive slowing down.
There is a lot of changes compared to the last year model. It ’s easy to see it has a completely
revised frame, swing-arm and wheels just as taking a look at the front where the lamps are placed in
different angle. The dashboard is the same as the old one. Regarding to its weight the new one is 3
kg heavier and 10 HP stronger. It means its basic power is 125HP which is increased by 10 HP at a
certain speed.
This motorbike has 636 cm3 and delivers the mentioned 136 HP at 14000 rev. It reaches the 100
km/h within 3 seconds and its end speed is over 270 km/h thanks to the oval inlet channels and the
two point injection. I would offer this motorbike for those who likes the sportiness and does not
afraid of visiting a race course. Thanks to the great running gear and breaks it is also perfect for
riding on the mountain roads.
Suzuki Intruder M800
Please welcome our audiences. In the following moments I will represent the Suzuki Intruder M800 motorcycle. This is a new Suzuki model from 2005. It is driven by a two-cylinder water/cooling 800ccm V-engine. 53 HP and 69 torque are put in it. Its dry-mass is 242kg. If we look at the running gear we find throttled telescopes in the front and swing arms at the rear. Owing to the cardan drive the engine almost
does not require maintenance. There are a disk breaks in the front and drum-breaks at the rear. Mudguards come from an old Maruder but these are plastic made. The lamps are also new.
Fuel tank is placed under the seat in order to the better weight distribution.
From motorability point of view it is a really comfortable motorbike. It can be handled on a really easy way.
Its acceleration is downright good in the cruiser category. The 69 Nm is sensible on the bike. It possesses 5 gear transmission. Thanks to its build it is more handleable than its motor/brother the VL800.
From the 2005 model year the Intruder has black paintwork almost everywhere. It can be seen on the wheels and the block.
I dare to offer it for ladies because it is really motorable. It is due to its light weight and the easy tractability.
